History:
Night had fallen as a little hazard cat walked out of a little wooden cabin, stars twinkled in the pitch-black darkness of night, the stars made the sky illuminate with light as did the half-moon. Her tail cracking, snapping and buzzing behind as she swiftly walked out of the wooden cabin and onto the soft green grass. The grass was lit up by the light of the moon making it shine and glitter, a paw step after paw step, the little hazard cat went onto her post. She was a guard cat, her duty is to protect a small factory that is used to make pulp and paper, from trespassers. She was thirteen years old, almost fourteen in a month. She sat on a nice patch of grass and stared intently at the gate, making sure no intruders were to break in. She was on high alert, ears perked up as they listened for any sounds. It was deadly silent tonight as the cold breeze swept in, dew starting to form on the lush grass below.
A loud clang was heard nearby, Kerisi quickly jumped up and ran swiftly to where the sound was from. In a nearby metal shed, some wire cutters had dropped onto the ground. She prowled around looking for any signs of intruders. She couldn't hear them, not a single peep, she turned away and walked around the perimeter of the factory. There she saw it, the fence had been cut, perking her ears up, she scanned the area. Nothing was seen until suddenly bright eyes lit up from the tree line past the perimeter. Intrigued, she wanted to investigate so she left her duties as guard behind. She entered the lush overgrown forest, she had never been in a forest before. She was adopted out as a tiny spark and trained as a guard she became a teenager, since she was almost grown up. The brown and golden leaves cracked as she walked onward, investigating the creature. She gazed up into the trees and saw plenty of animals in the canopy. She had never seen animals like these before, she sat there and focused on the creatures. She heard yelling for the factory, she rushed back inside the fence line, as quickly as she could. A couple of humans were there at the front gate, who were in the process of stealing some equipment and were loading the equipment into a medium sized truck. They were almost finished loading up when a piece of equipment had fallen on the ground, making a loud bang for all to hear. When they saw the hazard cat they immediately left the fallen equipment behind, as the truck rumbled and left the scene. Kerisi was too late when she saw them, she didn't get to the front gate in time as they drove off into the distance, dirt flying up into the air.
She no longer wanted to be a guard so that very night, she left to go to the forest. She wanted to study all the creatures there, she found a note book and a pencil in the shed. A few weeks later, she had almost completed her note book. It was filled in the language of the hazard cats, the book also had detailed drawings and diagrams of the critters she had studied. She was fourteen now, returning back to make a satchel and to take as many notebooks and pencils as she could. A few months had past and she noticed that she hadn't grown in a while, she had later discovered that she had a rare condition which is called Teacup syndrome.
